Pennies for Peace

The Youth Services Department is proud to participate in the international Pennies for Peace campaign, a service-learning program founded by Greg Mortenson – author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Three Cups of Tea. Our kids will join tens of thousands of children around the world by donating pennies to support community-based education and literacy programs in remote areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan. The program will run through from April 13th through June 20th. Donation containers will be available in the Youth Services Department. Pennies only, please!
