Light Reads

Looking for a light read?  I define a "light read" as something that's easy to read, not too dark, and not too long.

Here are some ideas:

The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon

The Brett Simon Mysteries by Charles Paris

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

Do you have some suggestions for "Light Reads" that others might enjoy?  Comment below.

I highly recommend Twilight

I highly recommend Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. It may be a little too "dark" in the vampire sense, but it's certainly an easy read and a lot of fun.

A patron suggested The Shack

A patron suggested The Shack as great light read; William P. Young's novel is about a man, grief-stricken, slowly coming to terms with his life in backwoods Oregon.
