In 1943, Joseph Needham arrived in China, inspired by a Chinese lover, to uncover all the beautiful and useful things China has given to the world.

With the Beijing Summer Olympics underway, I think the world has a new interest in China, or at least we at the library do! It's good to know that you can satisfy your curiosity about China here at the library.

Come and see our display of fiction and non-fiction books concerning China--from geography to culture and language. We also have Chinese folktales for all ages if you’re looking for some classic tales you’ve never heard. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, please mention it to us and we’ll see if we can get it from another library for you.

Enjoy the journey!
