New TV Series- Merlin: The Complete First Season

New to our DVD collection is the BBC hit Merlin: The Complete First Season.  Merlin stars Colin Brady as a young Merlin who is just coming into his powers & living in Camelot where magic is forbidden.   The producers have taken a few creative liberties with the show- for example, Merlin & Prince Arthur are roughly the same age.  While the two do not get along well in the beginning, Merlin is made Arthur's servant and the two gradually become friends as they discover their destinites are linked together.  While the battle scenes and monsters may be a bit much for younger children, Merlin is a magical family show that will entertain the whole family.
