Adventures of a Brookfield Composer

Long time residents of Brookfield may remember Michael Colgrass from when he lived here and attended RB High School.   Others may know of him as the brother of Village Trustee Cathy Colgrass Edwards.  But to the rest of the world, Michael Colgrass is an Emmy Award and Pulitzer Prize winning composer and author of the new book Adventures of an American Composer.   Colgrass's book features a collection of anecdotes starting with his life here in Brookfield and continuing throughout his career.  If you are a fan of music this book should prove to be an entertaining read.
