Come see our new exhibit, "Bound by Hand: How a Book is Made".
You'll get the inside story on how handmade books are created and be able to see examples of many different kinds of books, as well as tools of the bookbinder's trade.
The exhibit is located in the glass display case in the Youth Services Department.
On Wednesday, February 10, Brookfield Public Library will join libraries across the state in “Snapshot: One Day in the Life of Illinois Libraries” to demonstrate the importance of libraries to the state of Illinois. Collecting information, comments, and photographs from events in a typical library day will show how libraries consistently provide invaluable services to our community.
