Freeze Your Holds (2/01/2012)
Going on vacation? Have too many books to read already? Patrons can now suspend their own holds via their SWAN account. When you are ready for your items, simply unfreeze them using the same process. You cannot freeze holds on items that are already in transit or on hold for you at the Library.
To freeze/unfreeze a hold:
- Log into your SWAN account
- Click on your holds (upper left) to view them
- Check the "Freeze" box for those items you wish to temporarily suspend
- Hit "Update" under your list of holds.
